BoB's wife took some nice pictures and posted them to Shutterfly. She seemed to fixate on some good looking guy in the middle of the pack. ;-)

My wife got a podium and some great action shots of both Jim and Doug. Please let me know where to send them so they can put on the website.
Although I was disappointed in my 37/67 finish it was a great learning experience and loved the very tough course. Seeing that I glued on my 1st tubular only 48 hrs. prior to race time lucky for me it held out on the fast decents.
It was a blast to cheer and see 2 teammates tear up the course like Jim & Doug. Awesome job.

Great result guys.

Fortunately, I was able to see the pro-style finish thanks to the benevolent race official who pulled me to end my agony.

The Goat strikes again with ANOTHER 1st place victory!

Fox River Grove. It was a great course and would highly recommend to anyone (especially climbers and the fearless decenders). Very well run and one of my favorite races thus far.

As a post-script to Doug's post, I made a move off the front with 2 laps to go and as I passed the S/F of the bell lap, I was first going up the hill, but was passed and gapped by at least 7 people (including Doug) -- at the top, I caught quickly caught my breath and began hammering the decent picking off one rider at a time.

Upon the final straight away, I look up and see Doug doing a "Post-Up" as he crosses the line and I remember thinking, "what in the world is he doing?!?!?", as I had no idea that he won (...thinking there was still a group a guys ahead of us.)

A fun course and the vision of Doug sitting up and pointing #1 to the cycling Gods as he crossed the line was nothing shy of hilarious. (I hope someone got a photo of it!)
